Special Smiles Pediatric Dentistry is available when your child has a dental emergency. The emergency telephone number after regular hours is (317) 873-3448. This will connect you to a dental assistant who will be able to give you advice and contact the on-call dentist.

Insurance and Billing
We will be more than happy to submit all insurance forms for you and help you recover the most from your benefits. We are in the Aetna, Delta Dental, Anthem, Cigna, also accept all traditional insurances.
We will do everything we can to help you afford the treatment you need and want. For patients who require major work, we do offer Care Credit. Forms of payment accepted by the office are Power Day thru Dentex/Virtual Payment.

Through her years of interacting with children, Dr. Satterfield-Siegel has developed a genuine understanding of how to care for and communicate with children. She cares about each of her patients, and holds them close to her heart. Through the Caregivier Support program, Dr. Satterfield-Siegel helps parents and caregivers learn the best ways to communicate with their child. She has real-life experiences, and knowledge base to be able to reach children with special needs. She wants to share her experiences and expertise with you, not only to help your communication with your child, but to ease the anxieties you may have when teaching your child about good oral health practices. Dr. Satterfield-Siegel understands the importance of special needs care and discusses different methods in order to find the one that works best for you and your child.
Dental emergencies are scary for everyone. When a moment arises it can be easy to panic. Your child is nervous and doesn’t understand what’s happening – what do you do? What do you say? Dr. Satterfield-Siegel has experience helping children with special needs through these scary situations and would like to share it with you. Parents can come share and learn from others’ experiences to make you more prepared.
